Legal
Terms of use
These terms apply to the Erenials website and to the demonstration and pilot features it offers. By using the site, you accept them.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
The service
Erenials is operated by Cyberesia SA, Geneva. It is in a demonstration and pilot phase: features may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn at any time.
Sending a pilot request creates no contract. A pilot is governed by a separate written agreement.
Simulations and test networks have no legal value
The console, the assets shown on the home page and certificates marked "simulation" are simulations: no real document is checked and nothing is written to a blockchain.
Anchored certificates and access passes are recorded on Base Sepolia, a public test network. Test networks have no economic value, can be reset or shut down by their operators and give no guarantee of permanence.
A certificate or attestation issued on Erenials only shows that a given file fingerprint and record were registered at a given time by the Erenials issuer. It does not establish that the content is authentic, accurate or lawful, who issued it, or any right. It has no legal value and is not a qualified electronic signature, time stamp or certificate under Swiss law (ZertES/SCSE) or EU law (eIDAS).
Demonstration data
The organizations, people, documents and figures shown in the demonstrations are fictional. Any resemblance to real people or organizations is coincidental.
Your account
You are responsible for your sign-in methods (email inbox, passkeys, wallets) and for what is done with your account. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Acceptable use
When you use Erenials, you agree not to:
- certify content that you have no right to use, or that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes the rights of others;
- enter other people's personal data without a legal basis. Fields assigned to the public can be seen by anyone with the link, and the recipient addresses of passes appear on a public network;
- present an Erenials certificate as an official document or as proof with legal value;
- try to get around rate limits or security measures, overload the service or reach other users' data;
- create accounts or certificates in bulk by automated means.
Your content
You keep every right to the content you enter. You allow Cyberesia SA to store, process and display it as far as needed to provide the service, including publishing fingerprints on a public network. Entries on a blockchain cannot be withdrawn.
Intellectual property
The site, its design, texts and software, and the Erenials name and logo belong to Cyberesia SA or its licensors. They may not be reused without prior written permission.
No warranty, limitation of liability
The service is provided free of charge, as is and as available, with no warranty of availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or permanence of data.
As far as the law allows, Cyberesia SA excludes all liability for damage resulting from using or being unable to use the site, including loss of data or reliance on a certificate. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains as mandatory law provides.
Links to other sites
The site links to third-party services, such as blockchain explorers. We have no control over them and accept no responsibility for their content.
Changes
We may change these terms. The version published on this page applies; using the site after a change means that you accept it.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Geneva, Switzerland, have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory provisions that protect consumers.
Questions about these terms: privacy contact email, to be completed.
